FAQs

What does refurbished mean?

Refurbished is not the same as used. All our phones are reset to factory settings and have gone through a detailed tech check before we sell them.

Why are the devices sold by Hello Handy so cheap?

We buy units in large quantities from dealers we trust. This way we can be sure that the condition of the devices always meets our standards.

Does the smartphone come with accessories?

Yes. All our devices are sold with a matching charging / data cable. Please note: The cable is generic, not the cable the phone originally came with.

What is covered by the 12-month warranty?

We offer a 12-month warranty on all our refurbished phones. This means that if the product has a technical defect during the warranty period, we will repair it. If the repair is not possible, we will replace the mobile phone. Excluded from the warranty are all defects caused by gross negligence or improper use.

Covered technical defects include, but are not limited to:
  • The volume up and volume down buttons do not work.
  • The mobile phone can no longer be switched on.
  • The unit no longer receives reception.
Please note: Only if the battery is defective is this also covered under the warranty. Normal signs of wear and tear, including the reduction of battery capacity over time, are excluded from the warranty.

What do I need to know about shipping and returns?

SHIPPING:

Shipping within Germany: 2-4 days | Shipping Costs: 5€

International shipping (EU & Switzerland): 3- 7 days | Shipping Costs: 10€

RETURNS:

For all domestic and international returns: Accepted within 30 days. The buyer pays the return postage.
